Hunger Games Katniss Doll

Wow!!!  

This Katniss doll from Hunger Games is well really, GOOD!  

No its AMAZING!

Up until Breaking Dawn part 1, when I bought the Edward and Bella wedding 

dolls, I haven't been in to any other dolls per say... However, this Katniss 

doll almost makes me want to order one and have in OTC..   

The attention to detail is soo good! 

This "Hunger Games Katniss doll wears a hooded jacket, top, and military-style pants

 inspired by the costume Katniss wore in the film. Included are bow, arrows, and 

quiver. Completing her look is the  iconic mockingjay pin."

Although, if you want to own one of these then get in line. Apparently she is 

on back order until 9.14.12 according to the Barbiecollector.com web site.

Pre Order The Hunger Games movie now!!!

Keep 8.18.2012 in mind if you are a die hard Tribute because that's the date the Hunger Games movie comes out!!!

Itunes seems to be the cheapest so far.  

However, if you wish to own a hard copy in order to proudly display it in your very own Hunger Games Corner then check out  Amazon, Walmart or Target. 

Target's my favorite because its a 3-Disc Deluxe Edition which will include stories from the 

 Cornucopia, Tribute Video Diaries, photo album, and biographies.

Lot's of extra's and who doesn't like extra's?? 

However, if you order from Walmart.com you could win a chance to go to the L.A premiere!!! 

Very sweet! 

Plus some of there DVD's come with a Monkeyingjay pin to boot!

Hunger Games ~Toy Fair 2012

Are you counting down to HG?  If so only 39 more day until the movie gets here!  Yay!!!

Oh, and if you are curious the Hunger Games merchandise was featured at the 2012 Toy Fair in New York city already. 

Nice eh!

They showed an array of clothing and figurines as well as collectibles including jewelry, notebooks, puzzles, decals, headphones, even beach towels and lunch boxes.

Personally, I am not that into the HG collectibles however, I want this Mockingjay Pin!!! 

Ugh, I hope I can find it at Hot Topic if nothing else. 

Although, these action figures are kind of cute, and I am sure they will be available at every Wal-Mart.  However......

My heart will forever be with my beloved

Hunger Games Movie Companion and Tribute Guide are out!

Oh before you look any further let me say this...

**** SPOILER ALERT**** 

Anywhoo, while I was waiting to get my Breaking Dawn part 1 DVD last Friday I saw that the Hunger Games Illustrated Movie Companion and Tribute Guide were out.  
Whoop whoop!

So yes, I picked them up.  

I had to!  We only have 40 days until the movie comes out and I loved these books!  

I don't LOVE them as much as Twilight, but its a great story.  Nice easy read, and if you have NOT read them yet you soooo need too!  

Anyway, the Movie Companion and the Tribute Guide are awesome! They really complete my set. Yay!

 I think what I love most about the movie companion is the fact that, and here is the spoiler part, we get to see a sneak peek of the costumes the citizens of the Capital wear!  I was super duper excited to see this page in the book! 

I just love all the bright colors which is how I pictured them all to look like anyway when I was reading the series.  
Love it.  
I cannot wait to see this all on the big screen though!

The Tribute Guide is very cool as well because it has really nice full page head shot of all the Tributes, and a small bio on them as well.  (Very small, but its there.)  


Plus it talks about the weapons, with photos, the training center, the remake center and much, much more. After reading through both of these I feel like I am ready for the movie to come out now.  The story is once again fresh in my head, and it's always nice to have a fresh mind. Ha ha, no comments on that one please. lol 

Wow, look how made-up Katniss and Peeta are.  I am sure that wont last long. Eeek!

At the end of the Tribute Guide you'll see this sad photo of Katniss and Cinna.  If you have read the books you know what happens next.  *Tear Tear*.  

Anyway, they are out, and I feel if you can pick them up on sale its worth it.  Personally, I like having a full set to the books series I love or like a lot, so it was worth it to me.  

My next purchase will be the MockingJay Pin, and that will be it.  I am NOT going to start a Hunger Games Corner.  I am good!  Twilight is it for me.  Anyway I will keep ya posted if I am able to pick up that bad boy... =o)

My local Hot Topic has the Hunger Game T-Shirts in, and they are on sale right too!

Other merchandise, such as the beloved Mocking Jay pin, will be in on the 22nd this month. :0)

At least that's what one employee at the Salem Oregon store told me today!!!

I hope so we want that pin for sure!
