OHMYGOSH, I love them!
Look what my sister sent me!!!!    Warm and toasty is what I am talkin about!  My hands are always freezing when I am playing cards or blogging.  These are the prefect gift, so cozy warm, soft and she hand made them too!  =0)

They look FANTASTIC in Our Twilight Corner too!  

However, if Savanna thinks she gets to keep them she is out of luck!  They are mine!

Twilight Moment ~ Paper Cut!

Sadly, Savanna my daughter got a small cut on her finger while at Target last week, yes I know how convenient, so we decided to head on over and buy a box of band-aids.  
Of course we made Jasper and Bella jokes as we walked to that part of the store, but what caught my eye was this little tiny box that said, "Help, I've cut myself."  
Now how cute is that?  Oh yes, the Jasper jokes started to fly then for sure.... 

However, look at this little thing.  It's perfect for anyone, but fangtastic for us Twilighters! 
Soooo in other words, no "Bella" should be without these just in case you need to keep from making Jasper crazy, and want to kill you all the time... ha ha

Jacob's in a bad mood today. Wedding day for Bella!!! =0)

Yeah, so today is Bella and Edwards BIG day, and Jacob's a bit moody about the whole thing. Haha

Twilight Coloring

Surfing the net can always bring an element of surprise, to say the least, from one click of your mouse to the next.
I stubble across this cute little web site, Playpink,  the other day, and had to share it with you all.  

It is completely designed for that little Twifan in your life, however, I thought it was pretty fun myself.  Sooooooooooooooo maybe you don't have to be so little to play, or maybe it's just because its a Twilight thing.  Who knows.  Just have fun with it anyway not matter what.  =0)  

Treaty line has always been drawn...

Team Edward or Team Jacob?  Do you have a treaty line in your home?  I know this morning my daughter made sure everyone in our house knew ours.  Not like they didn't already though... ha ha 

Just so you know this Corner in our home has now become the treaty line between my room and my daughter's room.  Savanna, my daughter and one of Our Twilight Corner girls, can bounce back and forth between Team Edward and Jacob, but I cannot.  However, now that there is only 4 days until we see Breaking Dawn part 1, Savanna is making it very clear who is on what team.  lol

This photo is of my room, my bed to be exact.  I am very much TEAM EDWARD!  =0)  Savanna decided this morning to get us ready for Twilight Tuesday, and make sure we all know who's team we are each on.  She carefully placed pocket Edward and Barbie Edward in my bed, making sure my Edward fleeces were properly displaced as well.   I am sure her father will highly appreciate the new additions to our bed. =0)

As you can see Savanna is Team Jacob, and she informed me her room will stay this way until and possibly long after BD1 comes out. Tee hee... I LOVE IT!  Team spirit is always welcomed in my home.  However, I prefer to SPARKLE like there is no tomorrow then melt.

I kind have a funny story for you today...

As I stood in my bedroom this morning sprinkling  my pale skin with some lovely perfume my son yelled at me from down the hallway, "Oh my gawd MOM, I can smell you SPARKLE from here!" 

I couldn't help, but secretly giggle and feel the need to share this huge accomplishment with you all right away.  Oh yes this is a huge accomplishment.  Why might you ask is this an accomplishment?  Why do I refer to this small exchange between mother and son, about how he felt I was putting to much perfume on and stinking up the joint, as an accomplishment? 

Well because he used a certain word, a fantastic word, without being provoked.  He referenced to my perfume, my fragrance of choice for the day as my sparkle.   My sparkle!  My life is complete now to some degree.  HA HA

You see I have referred to, bombarded and barraged my friends and family with the word SPARKLE like you wouldn't believe.   I have loved shinny, twinkle things, gleaming, glittery things, and all things that shimmer, shine and dazzle since I can remember.  However, Twilight and my love for it has solidify my sparkly obsession even more.  I try not to let a day go by where I don't get my SPARKLE on some how, or glisten like diamonds in the sunlight or moonlight for that mater, in order to put a smile on my face.  tee hee =0) 

Its fun and I enjoy putting a little sparkle on whether its attitude or product to lighten my mood if only for myself, if not for everyone else's protection or benefit.  If you feel good you project this to the world and the world has enough problems without me adding to it.  So when I say his reference to my aroma is an accomplishment what I really mean is now I am not the only one who Twilight has seduced in one form or another. 

Conscious or subconscious he said it out loud and without hesitation.  He didn't just say my perfume stunk or that I was stinky.  He said he could smell my sparkle and that to me is not a bad thing.  Although, you might be thinking that I was putting  too much on and that's why he yelled this, but in actuality my sparkly fragrance does not stink and I was not putting that much on.  (At least that's what he told me b/c I did ask him and he said no it smelled nice.  lol )  Not that I have to justify this to you all, but I'm just sayin... =0)  It does however, have sparkles in it so my skin will glimmer in the light and its fragrance is light an airy which is very uplifting for ones mood.

In case you were curious I like to use Victoria Secrets, PINK Shimmer and Shine, warm & cozy sparkling body mist, as shown below in the picture (NOT that this is a sales pitch, so don't think I am benefiting from telling you any of this b/c I am not. Just sharing info.)

I have used there other shimmer and shine products as well, but this new one is fangtastic.  A little bit does go a long way, but I don't feel it has a heavy order to it at all.  I can't stand heavy  fragrances anyway.  They make my nose  go crazy and my lungs hurt.  

Now after the shimmer spray dries I also like to dust on a little more sparkle by using, Make Me PINK or HOT For PINK, also by Victoria Secret.  They also have a very light bouquet which goes well with the warm & cozy shimmer & shine spray.  It adds just a tiny bit more spark to your sparkles as well.

Oh and just an added public service announcement, don't ever forget to cover your pale skin with some sparkle protection as well, (sunscreen) before you begin the fun process of decking your skin out in man made sprinkles of sparkles because as fun as it is to shine and shine out loud;  its completely and utterly devastating to be struck down with any form of skin cancer and we all want everyone to stick around for as long as sparkly possible!

I personally like to use this brand of sunscreen, but any number of them will work to protect your skin from harm and keep you from revealing your true self to the public.  ha ha

However, if you do find you have been left out in the suns damaging razes for far too long such as this fellow below.  :/

Our Twilight Corner

Breaking Dawn Calendars are in! Well at least my neck of the woods...

Soooooooooo we found a bunch of Breaking Dawn 1 calendars the other day as my daughter and I were school shopping...   They were hidden, interestedly enough, behind some "puppy" dog calendars which I found pretty fitting and funny to some degree. 

As I was digging a few of the calendars out to bask in my wonderful discovery, I stopped to ponder if it was a "hater" or a "lover" who hid those calendars?  I mean a hater would put another item over anything Twilightish because the thought of this item staring them in the face makes them, well sick, I hate to say.   

However, a "puppy" dog calendars in front of the BD1 calendar could have been a Twicode to another Twilighter who might also be in search of these elusive calendars?  Personally, I am going with secret code because it tickles me to death to know we Twi-fans would be the ones to use a "puppy dog" calendar to tip another Twilighter off in order to help a teammate find their Twi treasure.  =0) 

Oh so anyhoo, I would love to be able to say that after I picked up the Breaking Dawn 1 calendar I could happily report it is a beautiful and spectacular item to see up close and personal.  However, sadly I am still not impressed with what Summit Entertainment is pumping out for us fans to buy.  I know I know, but I can't hide my feelings on this one.  I am not loving the Breaking Dawn 1 collector items I have seen so far at all. There just not calling my name for some reason.  ;/

 With that said, its not like Summit doesn't have me hooked, so what do they care if I don't particularly like these items very much?  At least BD1 items that is... I mean its not like I won't buy any of there goods and they know it; so of course Summit will be able to sit back, laugh, and count there green backs.  BUT, and I do mean BUT, I am still highly disappointed that they approved and are now going to start pumping these items out to us fans by the hundreds...

To be honest I was really, really, really hoping that after I got to hold, touch and feel this BD1 calendar I would fall madly in love with it and scream to the Twi-world its AMAZING, but sorry I still can't.  I guess I am very torn up over Dr. Cullen.  They took him from HOT to TOOL in just a few short years... Come on who loves Dr. Cullen's BD1 look? Really?  Ugh.. NOT! 

Although, I am a very, big fan and I am not giving up hope yet that things wont perk up and there will be a sparkly silver lining the closer 11.18.11 gets to us for any and all collector items... =0)   Right?   Right!

Fit for Forks!

Are you in need of a little toning and tightening?  Are body parts not exactly where they were before?

Do you have a big event you would like to get in shape for; Twilight convention, wedding or a birthday?

My Corner girls and I have a big ladies only trip planned this fall to Forks. Yep, going up to join the rest of the Twilight fans who flock to Forks, in order to check out all the festivities that will be taking place for Stephenie Meyer days... YaY, we can't wait! 

Anyway, I need to get back into shape or at least a better shape then I am in now; giving all the walking and shopping we will be doing in Forks, along with all the hiking we can handle on first, second, third and maybe even fourth beach. 

I have a 121 days to get ready for Forks and would love some inspiring information from any and all Twilights' on what to do, how to do it, or how you are doing it right now if you are... I use to know, but have lost my way. 

So if you are a lost work-out Twi-soul like me, with a sit down job and a busy life that leaves you no time to eat right and hit the gym, then lets help each other out on this one.

Anyone up for it?

This is what I am talk in about.  Lets make this life style change a fun adventure where we can bounce idea's, and fun facts about health and fitness off each other. 
Where we can help give welcoming motivation, inspiration, and encouragement to fellow Twilight fans who might not have the support they need from friends and family.

I have no clue where to start or how to begin, but I am open to any and all suggestions.  We could post idea's here or on our Facebook page or both.  I am up for anything. I would love fresh idea's and web sites to help us all out.

In April our Bella, AKA, Olivia from Our Twilight Corner won a T-shirt from The TwiHard Diet blog site! We just wanted to share a pic or two of Olivia's new shirt.  She loves it, of course.. lol  Gee I wonder why... =)  Thank you Jamie we love your site!!!

Jamie also sent Olivia a bracelet that is just adorable as well... And yes Olivia loves that as well... She just loooovvveesss to show it off in front of me all the time.. lol  

Now that Olivia has Imprinted she has decided to go camping with Jacob this weekend as well, in a TENT!!.. Ha ha

However, sense it rains a lot here in the Northwest, we wish them both the best of luck... lol

Don't be messin with our Corner!

I guess I never gave it much thought about how others view Our Twilight Corner's website and Facebook page, until I got a bizarre request from someone asking to speak to me about my site.  This person was very upset, and highly ticked off to see I had the same type of "title", and fan site as they did for their fan site.  I was a bit taken back as you can imagine.  My first thought was, "REALLY - REALLY - Is this person pokin me?" 

I mean they came at me with all kinds of assumptions, and false accusations.  Ugh, my favorite kind of new friend to meet too.  Yay, ;/....

Honestly the title, and how others would interpret it's meaning was the furthest thing from my mind when this whole Corner thing started, and I never even considered for one second, I would have to explain any of my actions to anyone for its existence.  (Although, I have in a way, and that is another story for sure)  Heck, I truly did not know how or if it would evolve in to anything myself.  It's just for fun people!  Fun! =} 

So for the record, (and I hope I do get this correct):

We, as in myself, my daughter, and a good friend of ours all love The Twilight Saga books, written by Stephenie Meyers.  Along with, the movies which we also love, but who's rights are owned by Summit Entertainment; which do included but not limited to: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and soon to be released Breaking dawn 1 & 2.  (Yes, we even love The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner and all that goes along with Stephenie, and Summit in regards to these books and movies.  Actually, I am not a fan of Summit, but I guess I have to give them some credit, right?)  ;)

Therefore, what started out to focus ONLY or MAINLY on Edward, Jacob, Bella, and the whole Twilight Clan, Coven, Werewolf, Vampire, Crazy Fan, SPARKLY hobby has now turned into more of a simile of sorts.  A play on words that interact with or relate to fun moments in time, whether it be past, present or future.  

I am going to attempt to keep this brief here...Haha, I think that went out the window a few paragraphs back, but here I go.....

Our Corner is a representation of all things we love, or we

find peace with: whether it is an object we cherish, a

favorite geographical location we love to spend time at,

or a particular moment in time we have spent with our family and friends. 

Life is too short to have issues, but let's face it, well all do. Lord knows this person did today.  Our Corner, to the three of us, holds memories about sharing a love not only for the "Saga", but sharing a number of gut busting laughs, personal secrets, and one crazy adventure with plans for more of them in the not, so distant future; we hope! =)

I care for our Corner, and the fan items in said Corner because a few items were gifts, I am, of course, a fan of the Twilight Saga, and I think it's funny.  It has become, in a way, very therapeutic for me to enjoy, and share Our Twilight Corner with others from around world.  I am delighted to learn, discover and enjoy having others share their Corners of the world with me as well; Twilight related or NOT!  So you see that crazy little region has become a play on words, a simile, so to speak to mean other things we love and cherish. 

Furthermore, what's amusing is I had to justify our Corner to a person, who literary jumped all up in my Corner, without gathering any facts, and assumed our site was a newborn trying to rustle in on their Twilight action. Ha!   But hey aren't we all on the same team? Hmm, that statement sounds vaguely familiar?  Hah, hah, hah -  Well I guess not! Not on the same team that is.....

Anywhoooo, again lets set the record straight.... The "Saga", the Twilight Saga was Stephenie Meyers baby!  She had the sparkly, fantastic, romantic, wonderful dream not any of us fans, so I am not sure why this person thought my Corner was there's in anyway shape or form, or that I was even remotely trying to copy their Corner to being with; when truly it is us fans who are not only trying to copying Stephenie Meyers Corner of the world, but some of us are trying to move in, and take over for complete and utter Twi-domination...  ;/  lol

Also, our Corner has evolved to represent something other then a book or a movie.  Its deeper, and I don't believe this person, who was all up in my Corner today, will ever understand that kind of "inner peace", for lack of a better word.  The kind of peace which comes from sharing, listening and being kind to others whether you know them or not or can see them or not.

But I'll tell you what... *Breathing heavy, and gettin all worked up like Jacob* 

If anyone attacks our Corner like this again, I will have to go all Cullen on there sparkly butts, and ReVamp their Saga for sure! =)
