Aren’t we all on the same team?

So lately, I have had some “run ins”, nothing physical though, with some “Twilight Fans” who seem to know more then the next Twilight fan; about anything and everything related to Twilight. Um, uh - yeah, simply because they took a “tour” to the Northwest or read the books a billion and three times.  Oh and that is fantastic by the way. However, personally, it's funny how possessive us Twilight fans can get over something that is NOT REAL.  OK yes, I said it!!!  I am sorry, but we all know that's true.  It is a beautiful dream Stephenie Meyers decided to share with us and for that I thank her, because it is fantastic, but it is not real.  Yeah, Yeah I know, sorry to burst your bubbles... Although, the haters are getting old.

Anyhoooo, while in the mist of furiously ranting about my run in with the meanie head, my little “Bella” friend of mine, kindly reminded me …. “There are Twilighter's, Twi-hards, Twi-tards and just plan Retards."  Which got me thinking.... What is the difference? "Aren't we all pretty much on the same team?"  I truly believed, (past tense), that no matter who you love; Edward, Jacob, Coven or Pack; heck you can be team Charlie, or Black Rebel Motorcycle Gang, (did you get that?), for all I care, but it is all in good fun.  I mean the end result is still Team Twilight, Right?  Right!??  Well I guess not..? Ugh....
I don’t usually get my feelings injured, but the attitude I seem to be receiving when I put my two cents in on a blog or status post update these days about Twilight is getting kind of irksome!  I mean why ask a question or make a statement on line, for the world to see, if you are not willing to take the answer or response that another fan is willing to give?  I mean some of you after reading this post will never come back or will have your own opinions you would like to add to my statement (s).  However, I am smarter than that big, fat, meanie head who believes she or he knows all there is to know about Twilight, and I did not place a spot for comments on my blog... Hah, hah, hah....  (I do mean this in the nicest since, by the way.)
With all the loathing, repugnance and detestation people seem to have for each other in this world, a world that seems to be falling apart at every turn, I truly believed, (I still believe by the way), that the Twilight Saga was one place we could all run to and block out the haters.  Now mind you, I understand we will not all be Team Edward or Team Jacob, and I know our family and friends will never totally comprehend us, but it is after all still Team Twilight correct???  A fantasy land, a fairy tale, for anyone and everyone who believes that true love will conquer all, a kind of escape, for the hopeless romantic that is buried deep within us.   Well at least this is how I like to see it... I understand there are many, many, many more reasons and each and everyone of us has their own view or reasons for loving Twilight, but to hate so deeply that you are unwilling to hear another person out, or dislike the fan made movie or pictures they created, with tender loving care, is just down right reprehensible.  ( I hope I got that word right)
Although, this is what happens when you let the real world in to the fantasy world or vise verse, so to speak.  Ok, well, yeah - all-righty then, this is taking a turn towards a  deep philosophical conversation that's for sure; so on to my some what point....
Nonetheless, I decided to educate myself on the definitions of Twihard, Twitard, Twilighter, and retard; simply because I know I am in one, if not all, of those groups.  (I know I wrote retard, but given my subject matter I will address that word here soon, and its not what you are thinking, ok)  So don't go all PC on me I am sick of the PC crap.
So let’s go over some definitions shall we?  I looked them all up on the Webster-Merriam, on-line dictionary and found non of the words I was looking for.  Obviously, I had to go to the Urban dictionary, but I had to make sure.
Definitions-(All taken from urbandictionary.com)
Twihard 1: Stupid obsessive people (mostly teenage girls) who are "in love with fictional characters and wouldn't know a good book if it punched them in the face.
Twihard 2: An serious/obsessive reader of the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer, one leap above Twilighters.
"The difference between being a Twilighter and being a Twihard, is that Twihards have embraced a new Twiligion... er.... I mean, religion based on Twilight. They live and breath Twilight. Most Twihards are for Edward and Bella. Therefore, those Twihards are all for true love & love at first sight. Point out one thing to a Twihard, and they can relate it to Twilight instantly. Savage and wild, they need every single thing to be perfect in the upcoming Twilight movie."
Ok, Um I like Twihard 2 definition, but I don't need every single thing to be perfect in the next upcoming Twilight movie, they just need to have all the things that are perfect to be in the movie.

Twitard 1:  One who takes fandom of Twilight, by Stephanie Meyer, to a level of or beyond obsession.
"They often flames forum postings trying to defend the book, regardless whether the book was being critiqued negatively or not. They are also prone to using all caps, not checking their spelling/grammar, jumping to conclusions, falling in love with Edward, and biting people's heads of for just saying they didn't like the book."
Twitard 2: A twitard is an obsessed fan of the suck ass vampire series Twilight.
"Twitards are dangerous. Many have attacked innocent people all for saying they didn't like Twilight."
"If you see a twitard, act with caution. They may pull a knife on you, throw acid in your face, hit you with Twilight it's self across the face and scratch your eyes out, just to name a few attacks that have happened."
Twitard 3: An obsessive fan of the Twilight book series or movie. Can be anywhere from ages 10-40.
Personally, I do not like any of the Twitard definitions except for maybe #3.  I feel that the age bracket can move up a bit as well though.

Twilighter 1: A human being who is a fan of Stephenie Meyer's 'Twilight Series', consisting of 'Twilight', 'New Moon', 'Eclipse', and 'Breaking Dawn'. Twilighters are usually quite addicted to the series, and would be considered 'obsessed' by some. (Also known as 'Twi-Hards')
Twilighter 2: noun.
Fans of The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer.
Not just people who've read the book...
but smile when they see a silver volvo. :)
Twilighter 3: A person who is a true hardcore fan of the Twilight Series and connects everything to Twilight

Ok, I know for a fact I can relate to all three of the Twilighter definitions and do smile at the thought of a silver Volvo, but I can honestly say I smile for more then a Twilight reason though.  It would be fantastic if I could afford a sparkly new Volvo; it's just a plus if there just so happens to be one in Twilight as well... ha ha

Retard 1: A person born with a mental condition and therefore has to work a million times
harder to be able to do simple things (such as learn and communicate) that we take for granted.... and who does not even live in the Northwest where Twilight was original filmed, who flew over on a plane to discover Forks where no filming was ever actually done, and now has blogged about their adventures for the world to see, in return gives them the birth rights to believing they are the only person in the WORLD who could possibly know more than anyone ever could ABOUT TWILIGHT, and all that is holly with it…. ;/  end quote by ME! Ugh
Now I am not trying to be a b*tch here at all, if that's what you are thinking… All that I am SAYING is, “lighten up” people!… No matter what team you bat for it really, truly is the same team.  I am glad people want to flock to the great Northwest to visit Forks; to visit anywhere and everywhere.  I personal LOOOOVVVVVVVE the NW and all it has to offer.  It’s a FANTASTIC place!  However, I am sure all of you feel the same way about where you come from or where you were born and raised…. I am glad, down right happy that Twilighter's come from around the world.  Great you came, you saw and now you want to tell the world about your magical adventures.  By all means do so, but if someone makes a statement like, "Oh I have been there.  I live close by. Don't forget to stop in at Jilly's in St. Helen's Oregon." Or "Make sure you head up to Larch Mt. its close to the View Point in where the Prom scene was filmed," don't tell me to butt out because I don't know what I am talking about.  Okay!
I'm just sayin!  I live here!  I love the Northwest and Twilight too!  I don't claim to know it ALL, but I have been to a few of the filming locations, and I have also been to Forks, La Push, Port Angeles, and I have read the books a time or two!  Forks is magical and not just because of the Twilight Saga, but because of all it has to offer; its part of the Northwest how can it not be charming?  Although, I am a bit bias…  Who wouldn’t want to romp around in a place that is so beautifully landscaped one would think you step right into a Tomas Kincaid painting, or where one might believe Vampires and Werewolves run a muck?  A place rich in the ability to get back to the rustic side of things.  A gateway to mother natures backyard where one can hike, camp, and fish all without traveling far or seeing another soul for miles.
It’s fantastic, and I feel very thrilled that Stephenie Meyers shared her sparkly dream with all of us; setting her books in a "perpetually rainy town in Washington".   Actually one of the reasons I fell so deeply in love with the Twilight Saga, other than obvious reason, was because  it's set in the NW and Katherine Hardwick did a fantastic job portraying that in the Twilight movie.  I love our rolling mountains covered in a sea of deep green trees, and the fact that a person has the ability to go exploring in a land rich in texture and life .  Our scenery has so much quality and peacefulness to it, it is truly a mysterious, delightful place even if you’re not picturing it through a book or a movie..

Blog, blog, blog,,,, I want your blog.....

Blog, blog, blog,,,, I want your blog.... I want to blog?.... I will blog!
What am I doing? Ok, so what am I doing!?? I am blogging. I am blogging?  Yes, I am blogging!  Oh my goodness there is nothing in my head to blog... Ugh

Alllll righty then... I am sure you are thinking I really don't know what I am doing.... Well that is correct!  I have wanted to "blog" for a while because I do have a lot to say, so I think. Or I have a lot of thoughts I think I should put on paper.  However, its a matter of  opinion if anyone truly wants to here the
bits and pieces, I might have rolling around up stairs.
I have looked up the definition of blog and found it means: read, write, or edit a shared on-line journal; not a bodily function. Thank goodness! Oh yes, I felt the name or word blog is not only not very appealing, but it's down right disgusting sounding.  Anywho, here I go with my poor, but hopefully fun, attempt of having a blog voice.

What will I blog about you ask? Well one MIGHT assume that I will blog about Twilight... Well yes maybe given the fact that this blog is on a Twilight fan site, or it was because I moved it, this blog statement that is. However, I feel the topics of my on-line journal will be just about anything that POPS into my head... =)

So stay tuned it might be a crazy, psychedelic and fun ride in to the mind of a FANPIRE.... Ha ha or something like that...

WARNING!!!  Oh and one caution to all you spelling freaks and geeks out there...
I do use spell check, on-line dictionaries, and read out loud to help with my disability, but I will go on record now that I am a HORRID spelling. So please, please do not e-mail me and tell me I spelled something incorrectly.  I KNOW I SUCK AT IT!  =)
