Sparkle like you mean it!

I think I need a t-shirt with this saying on it!!! :0)

Seventeen Days to go!

It doesn't seem real that Breaking Dawn is only 17 days away.  I myself kind of hurt just thinking about this movie coming and then going.  I am very thankful to have enjoyed the Twilight Saga experience, and to all the friends I have met along the way.
Its been a fantastic ride I am glad I did not miss!  =0)

Happy Twioween

Our Twilight Corner wants to wish you all a safe and fun Halloween!  Please "be safe" and watch out for Vampires and Werewolves tonight!!!   :)
Eat, drink and be scary this year!

Nothing beats a haunted moonlit night on All Hallows Eve.... And on this fatal night, at this witching time, the starless sky laments black and unmoving.  The somber hues of an ominous, dark forest are suddenly illuminated under the emerging face of the full moon.  ~Kim Elizabeth

Fifteen Days and still counting!!!

Silently, I lifted my doggy bowl off the floor. Then, with a quick, powerful flip of my wrist, I threw it into the back of Blondie’s head so hard that — with an earsplitting bang – it smashed flat before it ricocheted across the room and snapped the round top piece off the thick newel post at the foot of the stairs.

“Dumb blonde,” I muttered.
Rosalie turned her head slowly, and her eyes were blazing.
“You. Got. Food. In. My. Hair.”

Making of a Twilight Room

As some of you may know we are in the process of turning our office into a Twilight Room!  Check out my other post, Revamping-our-office-into-twiroom to see what we did before now.  Not that much has really changed per say, because we know it will be a slow process.  Nope, wont happen over night, but we are ok with that. =0)

Our main reason for turning our office into a Twilight Room is because Our Twilight Corner is not big enough to hold all our Twilight Treasures any more.  Although, I am not sure if our office will be big enough either, but it has been fun decorating and making it our own.
Our Twilight book cover posters so far are the coolest items to enter the room.  They look great on the wall, and the red frames we decided to go with really help to make the posters pop.   Can't wait to purchase the Twilight and Breaking Dawn book cover posters soon now too so we can get them up as well.
My little Corner helper Savanna, is very creative, so she is making sure I get everything straight and symmetrical.  I am bad about just putting a nail in the wall and calling it good, but she wont let me do this.. lol
Its lookin good and coming together pretty fast considering I have not told my hubby I was gonna do this. Ha ha
However, I got busted the other night, so he kind of knows now.  Although, all he said when he came into the office was,"Uh,Huh."  So I guess I am in the clear. lol
I know the photos are not very clear, but we had to turn on the twinkle lights in order to show you how we were hanging the posters. The room light was to harsh and casting a horrible glare making it impossible to show you how things were coming together.  I think its looking pretty good if you ask me.
I love twinkle lights as you can see, and I am planning on attempting to recreate the prom scene from Twilight in our room by hanging a few twinkle lights from the ceiling as well.  Wish me luck that it will work out...  =0)
Now right here where I am pointing to above my treadmill is where I am going to place a very HOT photo of Edward to help inspire and motivate me while I am working out. Yay!  Can't wait!
I know pink twinkle lights are not very Twilightish, but I had to hang them up because I've had them for a very long time, and needed a place to enjoy them.  I couldn't think of a more perfect spot then Our soon to be Twilight room!

Eighteen Days!!!

So you seduced your all-too-willing husband. That's not a capital offense.
I still cannot believe that BD1 is just around the corner.   Its a very exciting time in all our Twilighter lives these days.  I do hope when we all go to see this wonderful movie we get to share it with others who also enjoy this fantastic love story.  =0)

Sweet Sparkly Dreams ~ Good Night

“If I could dream at all, it would be about you. And I’m not ashamed of it.”
~ Edward Cullen

20 Days!!!

Calmly and carefully, brother. I know well how you love your justice, but there is no justice in acting against this unique little one for her parentage. And so much to learn, so much to learn! I know you don’t have my enthusiasm for collecting histories, but be tolerant with me, brother, as I add a chapter that stuns me with its improbability. We came expecting only justice and the sadness of false friends, but look what we have gained instead! A new, bright knowledge of ourselves, our possibilities.

Aro, Breaking Dawn, Chapter 36, p.698

Belle Brigade ~ I Didn't Mean It

11.8.11 cannot come soon enough as well as 11.18.11, if you ask me!

My friend Angie who runs Pure Twilight on facebook sent me this info today, and I just love this song.  Seeing the video was fantastic as well however, I do hope they make another one because this one is a bit odd to me.
Although, that does not change my view about the song in the least!  Love it and Breaking Dawn is going to be EPIC and leave us all wanting more...  This I am 100% positive of!

How do you show your Twipride?

Do you have car bling?
I show my love and support for all sparkly Vampires by sporting a few stickers and decals on the back of my car.   Nothing to flashy, but just enough that any Twifan would be able to recognize another Twilighter a mile away.
So do yo have a Twipride you flash on your vehicle?   Do you have a little "SPARKLY" decal or something somewhere on your car, truck or bike which shows what Team you bat for?  If so then tell us about it, or better yet show us by posting a photo on Our Twilight Corner's facebook page.  I know we'd love to see it!  =0)

A Breaking Dawn Morning

I can't even begin to show you how breathtakingly beautiful the sunrise was this morning.  My photo does not do it justice at all.  However, I had to share and add one of my favorite quotes with it as well.
My emotions keep running wild with the highly anticipated next instalment of the Twilight Saga movies, Breaking Dawn part 1.  The closer we get the harder it is for me to NOT see Twilight at every turn, angle or view of the world and today was no different.   I do hope you enjoy your day, your loved ones and your life because its all too short to NOT stop and watch a sunrise, smell the flowers or enjoy the world around us each and every minuet of every day!   =0)

Worried about liking the scent?  Well I can understand that, I was worried as well.  However, its Twilight related, so I gambled and bought two boxes a few weeks ago.  Let me just say I love it and if I could even begin to describe the wonderful bouquet of this perfume, I would have to say it's like smelling essences of Edward.  OH, YES that good!  lol  Only sweeter if there is such a thing.  *SIGH*

Now if only he was REAL, so we could all find out how he would really smell to each and everyone of us.
Anyway, I love it.  If you buy it let me know how you like it too... =0)

23 Days

You make your own kinds of mistakes, and I’m sure you’ll have your share of regrets in life. But commitment was never your problem, sweetie. You have a better chance of making this work than most forty-year-olds I know. My little middle-aged child. Luckily, you seem to have found another old soul.

More Breaking Dawn treasures

Yep, couldn't help myself and went back for more Breaking Dawn items at Hot Topic.

Hey, their accessories are buy one get one 50% off right now.   Picked up the Team Edward and Jacob wrist bands.  However, a little disappointed in the Edward one because its kind of hard to read/see it.   The purple is too dark agents the black that's on it.   Snagged the key chains and book markers too.

I have to say I'm very disappointed in our HT here in Salem, Oregon though.  No stickers or Bella's hair comb yet either, and when I asked the guy who was working about them he just said, "no that's it lady." Ugh whatever!
So eventually, I'll get to the one in Portland and see if they have more items, but for now I'm broke so I'll have to stop shopping and start saving again. :)

25 more days!

ReVamping Our office into a TwiRoom

I love, love how things are coming together. Husband needs to go camping more often. Haha
Anyway, I showed you these from an earlier post, Our Twilight Shopping trip.  They are cheap and not of good quality, but I needed something so they will work.  I should have bought real frames though.
Plus the posters I WANTED to put in these frames are smaller then I had anticipated, so the posters I have up now are not the ones I wanted up first.  However, they so work and would have gone up right after the ones I wanted up, so I am not complaining.   I am just glad to get them up.
FINALLY, our first Twilight poster is framed and going up on the walls our soon to be Twilight Room.  Sav's peeking out from behind there.  She is just too cute!  The poster looks huge, but its a normal size poster.  Love it!
Looks great over our craft table that you can't really see, but I know it's there. lol    Our walls are gonna look painted by the time I get done hanging up all these posters.  You see I had a weak moment on line and bought like 12 or 15 of them.  Not sure why I bought so many except they were on sale and that's my story; I am sticking to it. ;=)
NOT that they will all get hung up by any means, but I believe I do have room for five of them to go up.  I might put some lower then eye level on the walls as well, and on the door too.  Then I can hang about 7 or 9 I think  =0)  Tee hee
Here's what started the Twiroom to begin with.  This is the cake Lisa, my TwiBFF from Twilighters Deam, made for one of her Twilight parties.  Yes, I have it now, and yes I love it.  It was too big for Our Twilight Corner, so I had to put it in our office and that's what set the SPARKLERS flying in my mind.  So if my husband wants to blame anyone its her fault.. ha ha  Love ya Lisa!  =0)
Love, love, love this other Twilight movie poster we also got hung up today.  Probably one of my very favorites of all the Twilight movie posters.  However, do you see how there is a car photo next to my Twilight poster?  Yeah, well no worries.  It will soon be leaving Our Twilight Room, but I need to remove it in a very carefully planned out way.  Otherwise the man will flip out.  Can't just rip stuff off the walls that belong to him.  Wellllll, ok you can, but I am tyring to be nice about this. =0)
Ummm, yeah as you can see Savanna is loving the Twilight Room already.  This poster is right by the door as you walk in to the room, so I have a strange feeling it will get a lot of hand prints and finger prints on it.  However, if I see lip marks I will be pist!   ha ha No kissy, kissy my Edward!  =0)

Anyway, keep checking back with us to see how the room progresses.  I am hoping to get the room up and running as a Twilight sanctuary before too long.  My goal is to have it fully operational  by the time Lisa comes back to visit us for Stephenie Meyer Day 2012.  =0)

Our Twilight Corner shopping trip

We set out this morning to get some poster frames for the, 12 Twilight, movie posters I bought off the internet a few weeks ago, in an attempt to hang at least two of them in our down stairs office.  Yes, 12 or was it 15.  Don't ask why so many... its a Twilight thing ya know.  I was weak and they were on sale!
Anyhooo, our office is getting ReVamped into "Our Twilight Room"... Husband does NOT know this yet, but he is camping this weekend, so I thought I would take this opportunity to get in our office in order to clean, toss out unwanted items, and claim my Twilight Room before he got home and had a chance to stop me... Like he could anyway..... ha ha
Well I found and bought these two frames for the extremely high price of $9.98 each.  Not pleased with the quality, just so you know, at all.  However, I am sure if Wal-mart was selling them for this price then that's about as good as deal as I will ever get anywhere in our town. *sigh* so I bought two just to get me started... I should have paid a little more and bought real frames, but whatever....
In our quest of Twilight room treasures today we made the mistake of walking into a Hallmark store and finding all kind of Twilight cards that we either did not have, or had not seen before... We can't stay focused on one thing I swear!  Room will have to wait now because we started to play.  ha ha
Like the card says, "Whats NOT to love?"   Not sure why the rest of the world doesn't, but we sure do!
Then my daughter found these little cuties while my back was turned to her she said, "Mommy take me to the L.A. Premier of Twilight."  As I turned around she was holding these.  Last ones on the shelf.  Hmmm, was this a sign or what.
I wish we could go, but sadly not enough money in wallet to get us out of this mall any more even... Oh well, we will have TV and facebook to catch us up on all the photos and Stars who will be there.  Plus we know some facebook and Twitter friends who are going, and they have all said they will make sure to rub it in, I mean share, with us all their photos and adventures while in L.A. for the premier  ;/  Yeah, I know not the same...
Ok, I had to share this pillow because its just darling.  We found it at Kohl's for like $10 bucks.  The belt moves for the count down to Christmas.  If you love Christmas and all things black, red and white I highly suggest you add this to your next shopping list.  =0)  After all Christmas is only 63 days away now.
Umm, well ok now as you can see my daughter is Team Jacob, and I think the sales lady just about had a coronary when she saw Sav's lips get near this card.  Ha ha   I wish I could have takin a pic of her face.  It was classic!
We had a great time.  Did not find anymore shelves or frames for Our Twilight soon to be room while we were out, and about.   But having fun with my daughter was truely the most important thing any mom could have done on a Saturday afternoon.  Our Twilight room will always be there waiting for me to finish it.  She will not.  =0)

PS- We made to Hot Topic too and got more Breaking Dawn treasures as well... but I will share them on another post.. ok  =0)

Save the date...

Found this cute little thing while out with my daughter today.  Its a count down to Christmas tree with a Snowman. You can take the little dry marker pen, and put the number in the blank spot in order to keep track of the count down to Christmas.
Kind of sounds familial right now doesn't it?  Keeping track of the number of days to go until we get to the one day we really, really can't wait for any longer... Yeah, you know what I am talkin about....
Anyway, we love Snowman and we love Christmas, but what we love the most right now is counting down to BREAKING DAWN Part 1!!!!  So we kind of changed things up a bit until we get past 11.18.11.
As you can see we crossed out Christmas and wrote in Breaking Dawn.  =0)   We love it and my daughter says we need to leave it up all year....  I just said, "OKay!"  Besides there will be Christmas in Breaking Dawn part 2.  =0)

For the Redneck in your life

If you or someone you love is a Redneck, these are the stemware for you!  Yes , these are wine glasses and we found them in all places a Hallmark store...  I just thought they were the greatest find in the world, so I bought two!  Well it's great because its unusual... ok  =0)
I have friends who will not only loves these, but use them as well.   Redneck or not these are just too funny to pass up.  Yes, they are made from a real glass mason jar; lid and all included.  I know what a hoot!
What I like the best is I picked up a set for a Christmas gift and now I have a head start on my Christmas shopping.  That right there is the best feeling in the world!  Soooo, if you also want a set then mosey on down to your local Hallmark store and see if they have any in...  I tell ya they will be the talk of your next dinner party... I can guarantee it!  =0)

26 days!!!

“All I really saw was Edward’s face; it filled my vision and overwhelmed my mind. His eyes were a buttery, burning gold; his perfect face was almost severe with the depth of his emotion. And then, as he met my awed gaze, he broke into a breathtaking smile of exultation.”

-Bella Swan, Chapter 3, p.48

27 Days

Life sucks, and then you die. Yeah, I should be so lucky.

~Jacob Black, Breaking Dawn, Book Two Preface, p.143
Jacob and Billy are not as enthusiastic about Edward and Bella's wedding, but I am!!! Got my invite, did you? :0). Lol

What sort of plans do you have the evening before the midnight premier?  Who's having a BD1 party that night? Anyone dressing up to see the movie?  If so, whatcha wearing?

Christina Perri - A Thousand Years (Official Lyric Video)

What do you think?
I feel it's lovely and absolutely perfect!
Perfect for a couple to dance to as husband and wife for the first time dontcha think??  I mean as soon as I heard this song I completely pictured Bella and Edward dancing together at there interesting wedding reception.  Didn't you?   Just love, love this lyric music video!  Great subtle hints of Twilight all the way through it.  Below are just a few of my favorite snap shots from the lyric video.
How romantic!
Who doesn't love the representation of the chees piece?
I can totally picture Edward and Bella playing chees on this board too... I know, I know, but I love it all... =0)
Yeah, I guess time will stand still once you are a Vampire!  Love this!
You can buy this song on Itunes now for a $1.29 I believe, but I tell you what 11.8.11 can't come soon enough.  I want my hands on the whole soundtrack not just a few songs here and there!   Don't get me wrong love the sneak peeks and I want more, but I just really want this soundtrack now!  =0)  Ugh, its killing me... Nice thing is there are only 29 more days to go!!! Yay!

PS- I own none of these pic's or video I am only sharing my thoughts on them with you... =0)  Enjoy!
